Chapter 21 – Accompanying Her

As Xia Teng went to record the reality show, Xu Lang also packed up to follow along.

Xia Teng felt a little embarrassed. “Will this be okay, nobody else brought their family members, while I brought my family member…”

Xu Lang found this action of Xia Teng to be particularly cute. Every time she wanted something, she would refuse it first. She clearly wanted him to go with her, and she even helped him pack his luggage, but before leaving, she still asked once again.

Xu Lang teased her, “It seems so, it’s really not too good, then I will not go, you come back early.”

Hearing this, Xia Teng immediately became anxious. “Are we the kind of people who care about other people’s opinions?”

Xu Lang was amused by her righteous words. Unable to hold back, he rubbed Xia Teng’s nose. “You, you.”

Hearing his tone that was full of pampering, Xia Teng’s ear reddened.

After arriving, she found out that no one noticed that she brought an extra person along. Because compared to other people, she brought fewer people.

Everyone else brought bodyguards, makeup artist, assistants, and so on. Only Xia Teng alone brought just one handsome guy along.

And of course, everyone thought that this was Xia Teng’s manager.

Xia Teng originally wanted to explain, but Xu Lang refused.

Xia Teng naturally listened to Xu Lang’s words.

The name of the show was Survival on a Deserted Island. That’s right, the title of the show represented the program literally.

The program team invited five stars, three men and two women.

They were all currently popular stars. Xia Teng was the youngest, but her popularity had remained high.

Before the filming started, a round of hyping up had been done in social media, so the show was popular before it was even filmed, gathering a lot of attention.

The other four stars had plenty of dirty laundry in private, and relatively speaking, Xia Teng had the least amount of gossip materials.

Even though it was a reality show, but it was ultimately still a show, so it also had a script.

It was just that this script was just a rough outline and didn’t list all the specific lines to say, nor the exact things that they needed to do.

This script was also to ensure that the whole show was interesting and had funny points.

Xia Teng had read it long before the show. The program team gave her the character setting of “a beautiful top student”.

When all was said and done, the character setting was not bad.

At least this character setting was much better than that of another girl’s which was the weak woman who held everyone back.

When Xia Teng played with everyone, from time to time she would look at Xu Lang who was outside the shot.

Every time she saw Xu Lang, Xia Teng couldn’t help but blush.

The program crew was a little surprised. When they read Xia Teng’s Weibo, they thought Xia Teng was silly and amusing, but they didn’t expect this girl to be so shy.

Everyone lived in tents for the night. Other stars’ tents were set up by their assistants and bodyguards.

Of course, Xia Teng’s tent was set up by her and Xu Lang together.

Later in the night, the program crew all had fell asleep. Xia Teng closed her eyes and thought about how Xu Lang had really agreed to be with her, she began to feel excited and could not sleep.

She originally wanted to go out for a walk, but after a few steps, she saw Xu Lang who was also taking a walk.

The two looked at each other then smiled.

“You also cannot sleep?” Xia Teng said, her tone obviously carrying sweetness like honey.

Xu Lang nodded, but in his heart he thought, the old tree is blooming, and it can no longer be blocked…

It was indeed an old tree blooming.

The two walked unhurriedly under the moonlight. Neither of them said a word, but instead of feeling awkward, a certain sweet feeling enveloped the two of them.
